For “Archive of Touch” - Working from flat sheet metal, Signe Hasholt Henriksen shapes each piece into a standing form through an open-ended process of bending, joining and negotiating with the material. The finished surface carries the full trace of that process: every join and every adjustment.
Finished with heat and wax, the copper continues to shift slowly over time, meaning each piece is never quite the same from one day to the next. Less finished objects than ongoing ones.
